Heart of the Home Initiative
Every family, despite individual circumstances, deserves time together to celebrate, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. Many times this happens around a shared meal – preparing and eating. It is also the Heart of the Home where family members gather, have a space to do homework, talk through their day, learn about nutrition, explore creativity with new recipes, and spend time bonding. In addition to a lack of food items, many families also find themselves without the right kitchen supplies, equipment, or furniture to make a delicious meal together and bring the heart of the home to life.

The Heart of the Home initiative supplies deserving families with kitchen items based on individual family needs. These could be things like a crockpot, refrigerator, stove, freezer, plates/utensils, counter chairs, kitchen table, pots & pans, and all of the other little things that can really add up and families may not be able to afford. Families have their supplies delivered and set-up in their home based on their individual needs, preferences, and where they are staying/living. We work with non-profit organizations to identify families in need, most of which that can't wait to share a new recipe around the table.
