Connection at Home

Every family deserves time together to connect and enjoy one another — and often, that happens around a shared meal.

The kitchen is more than a place to cook.
It’s where conversations unfold, homework gets done, creativity is sparked, and everyday bonding takes place.

But for many families, the challenge isn’t just access to food — it’s having the space, tools, and supplies needed to prepare meals together.

Through our Heart of the Home program, we restore kitchens for families living in underresourced circumstances so they can cook, gather, and reconnect in the space that anchors daily life.

We also provide grants that address food insecurity — ensuring families have access to what they need not just to eat, but to come together.

Because when the heart of the home comes back to life, connection grows with it.

Watch our work in action!

Our work varies in scale, depending upon the needs of each family. After interviewing each family, we map out a plan that can be as extensive as full kitchen renovations to updating living spaces and supplying new kitchen items .  These could be things like a crockpot, refrigerator, stove, freezer, plates/utensils, counter chairs, kitchen table, seating, pots & pans, and all of the other little things that can really add up and families may not be able to afford.  We mainly work with non-profit organizations to identify families in need.  Please contact us if you have a family to nominate.

Connecting with Others

Belonging begins when children learn that differences are not something to fear — but something to understand.

Lolly the Left Out Lobster follows Lolly as she finds her way back to her family, reminding young readers of the importance of approaching others with an open heart and mind.

Through book donations, school visits, readings, and community events, we bring Lolly’s message of empathy and inclusion to children who may not otherwise have access to stories like this.

Stories create bridges — and those bridges matter.

You can also find Lolly at select booksellers, Northeast airport shops, Maine resort gift stores, or on Amazon. Proceeds support Eat Laugh Give initiatives.

Your Job Won't Love You Back

Confidence grows when young women learn to listen to their own values rather than external pressure.

Your Job Won’t Love You Back, 12 Principles to Live in Alignment with Your Heart, is a book and activity guide that is currently only offered by request for group-based workshops and women's groups. This humorous book provides real life disaster stories, funny moments, and candid reflections while also offering participants exercises for their own personal reflection.  The activities, and conversations are designed to strengthen self-trust and alignment.  When women feel connected to themselves, they navigate life with greater resilience and clarity.
